The GE360-DO-2RS4 INA is a spherical plain bearing. Spherical plain bearings are two-piece plain bearings. They have no rolling elements, but consist of an inner and outer ring. The inner ring has a convex outer surface. The outer ring has a concave inner surface. This construction gives spherical plain bearings their high load carrying capacity and capacity to accommodate misalignment.
The GE360-DO-2RS4 INA has a steel-on-steel sliding contact. Both the outer and inner rings of this bearing are made of steel.
