The VCM7014-E-T-P4S-UL-XL FAG is a single row angular contact ball bearing. These bearings have solid inner- and outer rings. They owe their name to the contact angle that is created as the raceways of the inner and outer rings are offset from each other along the bearing axis. The bearing rings have one high and one low shoulder. Thanks to the low shoulder, a large number of balls can be incorporated in the bearing. Single row angular contact ball bearings can support high radial forces and axial forces in one direction. The greater the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity of the bearing.
The VCM7014-E-T-P4S-UL-XL FAG is an X-life bearing. X-life bearings with their special internal construction provide greater performance than normal angular contact ball bearings. Contact surfaces, steel grade and rolling bodies are of a higher quality. X-life bearings combine a higher load capacity with a longer service life. The bearings generate less heat and higher speeds are possible. Finally, X-life bearings have a longer maintenance interval than normal angular contact ball bearings.
The VCM7014-E-T-P4S-UL-XL FAG is a universal angular contact ball bearing. Universal angular contact ball bearings with the same deviation in inner ring bore and outer diameter can be combined for use in different arrangements. A pair of UL bearings in an X or O arrangement has a slight preload.
