The WS22211-E1-XL-2VSR-C4 FAG is a spherical roller bearing. This bearing type has a solid inner ring, which runs on two rows of symmetrical rollers in a solid outer ring. The outer ring has a concave, spherical raceway. This design compensates for any alignment errors and shaft deflections. Spherical roller bearings can withstand particularly high radial loads. The WS22211-E1-XL-2VSR-C4 FAG is an X-life type bearing. X-life bearings provide better performance than normal spherical roller bearings due to a special internal construction. Contact surfaces, steel grade and rolling bodies are of a higher quality. X-life bearings combine a higher load capacity with a longer service life.
