The XCS71909-E-T-P4S-UL FAG is a spindle bearing with a very durable construction. XCS angular contact ball bearings are part of the FAG X-life ultra series. These hybrid bearings combine a ring of Cronidur 30 steel with ceramic balls. X-life ultra bearings can withstand high speeds, high loads and high temperatures. FAG XCS models have small balls for extra high speeds.

Cronidur 30 steel generates less heat, allowing for higher contact pressure. It is corrosion resistant and less vulnerable to dirt than normal bearing steel. Furthermore, X-life ultra bearings have ceramic balls for higher speeds. The combination of steel and ceramics reduces the load on both materials and lubricants.
