Single-direction tapered roller thrust bearings can withstand high peak loads, as well as heavy axial loads in one direction. This type of bearing, known for its high rigidity, consists of a shaft washer and a housing washer with tapered raceways. A cage with tapered rollers is located between them. Tapered roller thrust bearings can be disassembled, allowing both bearing washers and the cage with roller set to be mounted separately. These bearings are used in various applications, including machine tools, conveyor belts, and cranes.
