Product description
The HCB71903-E-T-P4S-UL FAG is a hybrid spindle bearing. This bearing type has large ceramic balls. Hybrid spindle bearings can reach very high speeds with very little heat generation and wear. Even at very high speeds, a high degree of rigidity is maintained. This makes the HCB71903-E-T-P4S-UL FAG particularly suitable for use in high-speed- or grinding spindles.
FAG spindle bearings are single-row, angular contact ball bearings that cannot be dismantled. They have solid inner and outer rings as well as ball-and-cage assemblies with solid window cages. Due to their extremely tight tolerances, they are particularly suitable for applications that require high guidance accuracy and suitability for high speeds. Spindle bearings are commonly used for main spindles in machine tools.
In addition, FAG spindle bearings are designed as universal bearings. Universal bearings with the same deviation in inner ring bore and outer diameter can be combined for use in different arrangements. For example, when the load capacity of a single bearing is insufficient, two matching bearings can be used in a tandem arrangement to support axial loads in one direction only. In order to support axial loads in both directions as well as moments, O or X arrangements are good solutions.
