    Spherical Roller Thrust Bearing

Spherical roller thrust bearings, also known as axial spherical roller bearings, have the highest load-carrying capacity of all thrust bearings. This type of bearing can handle high radial loads and extremely high axial loads in one direction simultaneously. The specially shaped raceways of this bearing accommodate a large number of asymmetrical rolling elements. These rollers transfer the load from one raceway to another. Spherical roller thrust bearings are self-aligning, allowing them to handle slight misalignments between the shaft ring and the housing ring.
