Angle rings for cylindrical roller bearings, also known as L-shaped thrust collars, can be combined with NU cylindrical roller bearings to axially lock a shaft in one direction. Additionally, angle rings can be used in combination with NJ cylindrical roller bearings to axially lock the shaft in both directions. Furthermore, in some cases, the assembly and disassembly of bearings are also facilitated using L-shaped thrust collars. Angle rings are not supplied with cylindrical roller bearings but are available separately.
