Cam followers are designed for use with various types of tracks. Thanks to a thick-walled outer ring, they can withstand high radial loads. Instead of an inner ring, they feature a solid, threaded stud, enabling easy mounting. They are not mounted in a housing bore, but a flat (counter) track provides support. Common applications of cam followers include conveyor systems, cam mechanisms and linear guidance systems.
