    Bearings for Housings

Radial insert ball bearings, also referred to as Y-bearings, are specifically designed for installation within housings. These are deep groove ball bearings, sealed on both sides. The outer surface of the outer ring can either be cylindrical or spherical (convex), allowing it to compensate for any misalignment issues in the shaft. The inner ring of these bearings is often extended on one or both sides. They are locked on the shaft by means of eccentric locking collars, grub screws in the inner ring, adapter sleeves, drive slots or fit. Radial insert ball bearings are very easy to fit and deinstall.
